R Srinivasan

Visiting Scientist, Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science

Dr. R. Srinivasan is a hydrogeologist who has taught and worked at Bangalore and Mysore University, Geomysore Services, National Geophysical Research Institute, and the Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (CAOS) at the Indian Institute of Science as INSA Senior Scientist, following which he started working at the Divecha Centre for Climate Change. At CAOS and DCCC, he has worked on pre-Quaternary glaciation events in Indian geological history and discovered evidence of glaciation 2.7 Ga old glaciation. He is presently working on fluoride, arsenic and uranium contamination of groundwater and related health effects.
